Arrived BWI, will try to get a Space A hop on a transitting inbound Air Force aircraft from Lajes AB Azores inbound BWI going up to McGuire AFB NJ in a couple of hours. Then we hope our chances are better for hopping out of McGurie AFB tomorrow to Ramstein AB GE. USO folks here are very friendly (Leo - retired w/36 years of military sevice). 40 passengers are stranded here who came in from Charleston AFB SC but who were trying to get to Andrews AFB MD in hopes of also getting to Ramstein. Many will stay here until tomrrow night to try to get to Ramstein from BWI. We don't want to wait here until tomorrow night for a one-shot deal. Besides, hanging out at an Air Force base is cheaper, more all-accommodating, and should have more opportunities for flights.
