"Going Home" for the Day to Kindsbach GE

Spent the day visting Monika & Oma Thum, who basically raised George & Emily during 1989-1996. Reminisced with next-door neighbors, the Schmids. Visited George's elementary Grundschule and saw his former teacher Herr Rosenkranz. And had cafe & kuchen with Renate Donauer who used to clean our home. Had wiener schnitzel lunch and apfelsaftschorle - - to die for - - out at the Silbersee! Life does not get better than this. Would like to rent an upstairs apartment for one month next summer and just hang out in Kindsbach to hearken back to a slower and calmer way of life. Soem say, "You can never go back." This time we did though and nothing had changed.
